What we collect, and why
- Subscription: company name, email address and payment information, to bill the service and reach you. Payment is processed by Stripe: we never see your card number.
- Service users: username, encrypted password and two-factor sign-in secret, to control access to your server.
- Technical logs: IP address, date and page requested on your portal, for the security of the service. They are erased by automatic rotation.
- Public demo: a fingerprint of your IP address, kept in memory for 24 hours to limit the demo to one per day, and the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot check.
What you do in a session (pages visited, files opened) is neither viewed nor kept by us: the container is destroyed when the session closes.
Where the data is
Your server and the demo server are hosted by OVHcloud in Beauharnois, Quebec. Two providers process some information outside Quebec: Stripe (payment) and Cloudflare (hosting of this site and anti-bot check). They receive only what their role requires.
Retention
Subscription information is kept for the duration of the subscription, then for the period required by tax laws. On cancellation, your server, your user accounts and your logs are destroyed.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal information, its correction or its deletion, and withdraw your consent, by writing to connect@safehive.ca. We respond within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (https://www.cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or audience-measurement cookies. The payment page loads Stripe, which sets cookies used to prevent fraud. Your server's portal uses only the cookies needed for your sign-in.
